12 Alternate Nick Saban SPORTS ILLUSTRATED covers
Most saw the news earlier this week that Head Coach Nick Saban had landed the University of Alabama on the prestigious front cover of Sports Illustrated for the 22nd time.
What many didn't see, however, were the alternate Sports Illustrated covers that just nearly missed the printer. In the magazine and advertising industry, most headlines never see the light of day. Luckily, we've been able to recover a few from SI's cutting-room floor.
