Why I Buy Used Cell Phones
I’m quite a practical person and I don’t believe in spending tons of money just to keep up with the technology trend in gadgets. Although Cell phones have become quite a necessity nowadays, I don’t believe in buying a super expensive brand new unit just to find out that model will be replaced by a newer one the following month.
There is a good reason why people buy used cell phones. It may be because they really can’t afford a new expensive one or they share the same philosophy as I do. If you mainly use the cellphone to talk and text then there’s no point in buying a pricey unit with all the fancy GPS and internet connectivity features. As long as the used cellphone can still serve its purpose like getting thru a call or has a battery life that will last you for more than 3 hours, then that unit is just good enough for me.
There are many places you can buy a reasonably priced used cell phones. Preferably, I would buy it from the owner himself. Most likely, if your unit has only been used by one owner, the damages or repairs it will need won’t be that much. Most of the time, the unit was barely used and these owner just want to dispose of it to get another unit or an upgrade in their services.
